Sadly, my old boots bit the dust this winter, developing holes that resisted all of Nate's attempts to patch them. After nearly four years of heavy use, I suppose they deserved retirement. I found these new boots on big time clearance at J.Crew. We'll see how long they hold up - they have certainly been getting a lot of use already.

Jealous! I keep asking for cute rain boots for Christmas (along the lines of having something under the tree that I want but not having it be so expensive), but I think my family doesn't believe that I want them. So, I've been dealing with that icky soggy jean hem thing instead. Bah.
